Our Response Centre is at the heart of Mindme. It’s a very special operation and all the staff understand that customers rely on us for help in any eventuality and so will respond to each call with care and flexibility. They are there to ensure every caller receives exactly the help they need, as quickly and smoothly as possible.
The Response Team is highly experienced. The Centre receives over 500 calls a day, so the team has experience of and knows exactly what to do in just about any situation. The Centre looks after people from all walks of life, in all sorts of emergencies and situations and treats everyone with respect, care and warmth.
When you activate your alarm the operator will know whom you are and where you are, and can access any information you have registered with Mindme. They will speak to you, reassure you, assess your situation and arrange the best course of action. That may be contacting a friend, relative or carer, or summoning an emergency service.
Mindme’s Response Centre holds whatever relevant information you choose – so in an emergency you don’t have to remember telephone numbers, medications, dosages or other conditions. All information is secure and confidential, and users choose what information to share with the Centre when they set up the service. You can alter your information, on line, anytime and as often as you wish.
The service operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
